17 year old Keeton Hanks on a hot
streak , has sights set on a successful weekend of racing in 2 different states!
“I am very relieved now that we have gotten the bad luck behind us and been
able to show some success here in the past few races. We knew if we kept working
at it and didn’t give up, we would get through it,” explained Hanks.
Not only has Hanks proved to be a strong contender at Music City Motorplex,
but he has also collected two wins in the late model division at Beech Bend
Raceway in Bowling Green, KY. The team made their ASA Late Model South Series
debut on April 29th at Beech Bend Raceway in the Pepsi 100. Hanks qualified
fourth and experienced some contact on the first lap, and went on to finish
11th. The team made their next ASA Late Model South Series start on June 17th at
Rock Castle Speedway. The team experienced a mechanical problem with their
engine and went on to finish eighth. Keeton Hanks Racing will make their third
start at Beech Bend Raceway for the Kentucky 100.
“I am looking forward to being able to show our chances again in front of a
hometown crowd as we go for our fifth win of the season!,” continued Hanks on
the Kentucky 100.
The team will be back into action on July 14th for the USG Sheetrock 50 at
Music City Motorplex during Friday Night Thunder as they go for their second win
in a row. The next day you will see the Keeton Hanks Racing team at the ASA Late
Model South Series race at Beech Bend Raceway for the Kentucky 100.
