Dan Schlieper Heads to Davenport on Tuesday

June 20, 2005

(SULLIVAN, WISCONSIN) “The Wisconsin Wildman” Dan Schlieper is slated to be
in action on Tuesday night, June 21 at the Davenport Speedway in Davenport,
Iowa. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series rolls into town and a $7,000
payday is on the line for the ‘Quad City Challenge.’ A complete show
featuring qualifying, heat races, B-Mains, and the 40-lap feature event will
be on tap this Tuesday evening at the 1/2-mile dirt oval. For more
information concerning this exciting event, point your web browser to
www.naradirtcar.com.

Dan is uncertain about his weekend racing plans. At this time, he is
leaning on taking the weekend off in preparation for the upcoming World of
Outlaws Stacker2 Late Model Series East Coast swing. Dan has to be at the
Ransomville Speedway in Ransomville, New York on Monday, June 27 for a
$10,000 to win WoO event. The race at Ransomville will be the start of an
eight-race stretch out east for Dan and the other “Dirty Dozen” members. If
something should change and Dan decides to race somewhere this weekend, it
will be posted first at www.danschlieper.com.

Dan competed last weekend at Jim Nier’s K-C Raceway in Chillicothe, Ohio.
The World of Outlaws Stacker2 Late Model Series sanctioned the $20,000 to
win ‘Veteran’s Appreciation 100’ at K-C last Friday and Saturday. In
qualifying on Friday, Dan was way too tight and timed in twenty-seventh
fastest. On Saturday, Dan drove his Miller Bros. Coal / Hawkeye Trucking #9
Rayburn / Pro Power Monte Carlo to a sixth place finish in his heat race.
However, a second place finish in his consolation event would be good enough
to transfer Dan into the main event. In the 100-lap feature, Dan suffered
some bad luck as Rick Aukland broke in front of him and the Sullivan,
Wisconsin driver had no where to go. His right front made contact with the
#12 machine of Aukland, which caused damage to Schlieper’s mount. Dan wound
up finishing nineteenth in the final rundown at K-C.

“It wasn’t a great weekend at K-C to say the least,” said the 2003 World 100
Champion on Monday. “We were actually pretty good in hot laps on Friday
night and then I decided to try to make the car a little better for
qualifying. The decision backfired on us and I was way too tight. That put
us behind the rest of the weekend. We are trying to fix the damage from the
incident with (Rick) Aukland and get that car ready for Davenport tomorrow
night.”

The #9 currently sits in the tenth position in the 2005 World of Outlaws
Stacker2 Late Model Series point standings after twelve events. He trails
point leader Billy Moyer, Jr. by 182 points. Dan has amassed one Top Five
run and four Top Ten finishes in the twelve events this season and has
racked up $13,900 in prize money. The Sullivan, Wisconsin driver finished
seventh in last year's inaugural version of the WoO point standings.

Dan would like to thank all of his sponsors including: Miller Bros. Coal,
Hawkeye Trucking, Pro Power Racing Engines, CJ Rayburn Race Cars, Uncle
Buck, Hoosier Tires, Five Star Bodies, Stealth Carburetors, VP Racing Fuels,

Dan Schlieper Heads to K-C After Ninth Place Effort in Dream 100

June 14, 2005

(SULLIVAN, WISCONSIN) Dan Schlieper and the rest of the “Dirty Dozen”
members will jump back on the World of Outlaws Stacker2 Late Model Series
circuit this weekend when they visit the K-C Raceway in Chillicothe, OH. On
Friday night, June 17, qualifying and a special non-point feature event will
be on tap on the racy, high-banked, 3/8-mile clay oval. The fastest six
“Dirty Dozen” drivers in time trials on Friday night will go against the
fastest six non-World of Outlaws drivers in a 15-lap, $2,000 to win affair.
Saturday night will feature heat race action, consolation events, pole dash,
and the 100-lap, $20,000 to win ‘Veteran’s Appreciation 100.’ For more
information on Jim Nier’s K-C Raceway and the event this weekend, point your
web browser to www.kc-raceway.com and www.woolms.com.

The #9 currently sits in the tenth position in the 2005 World of Outlaws
Stacker2 Late Model Series point standings after eleven events. He trails
point leader Billy Moyer, Jr. by 148 points. Dan has amassed one Top Five
run and four Top Ten finishes in the eleven events this season and has
racked up $12,400 in prize money. The Sullivan, Wisconsin driver finished
seventh in last year's inaugural version of the WoO point standings.

The driver of the familiar Miller Bros. Coal / Hawkeye Trucking #9 Rayburn /
Pro Power Monte Carlo posted a strong ninth place finish in last weekend’s
‘Dream 100’ at the Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, OH. Dan qualified thirtieth
for the event out of 144 entrants, which put him on the pole position of the
sixth heat race. After a furious battle with Jackie Boggs and Scott James,
Dan settled for a third place finish in his heat race. Dan rolled off
eighteenth for the $100,000 to win ‘Dream 100’ and proceeded to pick off
nine cars en route to a solid Top Ten effort.

“We missed a couple of little things that would have made our car a lot
better,” said Dan on Tuesday afternoon. “It wasn’t too bad, but our car
just didn’t steer as well as it needed to all weekend long. We would have
liked to have run another car, but we were so busy running all of the World
of Outlaws races last week that we didn’t have time to get it ready for
Eldora.”

Dan would like to thank all of his sponsors including: Miller Bros. Coal,
