Reinke King of Wisconsin: Martin King of WOW!
Elkhart Lake, WI: 7/13/06 - Another busy week of racing for Team Velocity and a royal congratulations go out to the newest King of Wisconsin Sprint Car Racing, and for that matter the entire court, as our very own Mr. Excitement: Mike Reinke won the IRA sanctioned event on July 8th. Interestingly enough, to get the win, Mike staged a drag race to the checkered flag with non other than former King and teammate Steve Meyer. The win also puts Mike back on top of the Interstate Racing Associations point standings. Mikes win at the Wilmot Speedway came on the teams second night of competition at the venue since the mid 1990s.
Randy Martin continues to hold down the top of the Winged Outlaw Warriors charts as well. Those charts include the series points as well as the win column as the California, MO pilot chalked up yet another checkered flag on July 9th at the Double-X Raceway.
On July 7th, teammates Martin and Jerrod Hull took on the Winged Outlaw Warriors at the Bolivar Speedway. Martin would see trouble which forced a premature end to the night while Hull made a last lap pass of his own to claim 3rd.
Switching to pavement, Ryan Litt scored a 2nd place finish in Auto Value Super Sprint action on July 8th when the series invaded the famous Salem Speedway. Litt lead the early part of the event, using the extreme high side of the ultra-fast legendary track to pass for the lead but would later surrender the lead in heavy lapped traffic. Make no mistake that our 19 year old Canadian pilot has more than proved his worth. By the way, Ryan is not only leading the AVSS Rookie of the Year standings, he also currently sits third overall.
In a housekeeping note, we need to also acknowledge a finish that was missed back on June 10th. That was the night the Brian Kristan beat teammate Dave Enders to the line at the Plymouth Dirt Track in Plymouth WI 360 sprint action.
In case you are wondering just where these guys are finding their edge,
its not a big secret. In fact, all you really need to do is talk to your
local Velocity Wings dealer and ask them about the advantages of being a part of
a winning team. Not sure where to find your local dealer? Take a look at the
dealer list on our website at www.velocitywings.com.

"Velocity Wings All Star Salute to it's Winners!"
Elkhart Lake, WI: 7/6/06 - The checkered flags continue to wave as we
continue to salute our winners as Team Velocity marches forward. Forgive the
patriotic feel there, but the recent 4th of July holiday found several more
winners in victory lane using Velocity Wings.
Jerrod Hull made his way back to victory lane at 34 Raceway in West Burlington Iowa on July 3rd in his H&H Enterprises Avenger. The win marked Jerrods tenth career Sprint Invader win, topping that category and his seventh checkered flag of the season, just a tick behind Velocity Win teammate Randy Martin who sits third in the country with ten wins overall.
Brian Kristan also topped the field at the Wilmot Speedway in weekly competition there. BKs run at Wilmot on June 24th as he continues to drive toward a title there.
Mike Reinke topped a potent field of forty 360 sprinters in time trials on July 3rd at the Raceway at Powercom Park. While the speedster dubbed Mr. Excitement is no stranger to topping the sped chart, Mike accomplished the task in a rented car from Randy Sippel. Yes the same Randy Sippel who envisioned the awe inspiring 3-seated sprinter! The same Randy Sippel who has allowed many to live out their dreams of racing a sprint car through his programs! The same Randy Sippel who just happens to be a Velocity Wings dealer in Elkhart Lake, WI!
In other news, Velocity Wings has signed on as a product sponsor for the upcoming Summer Sizzler in Antigo (WI) on August 4th and 5th. Velocity Wings will award a nose wing in each of the heat races in Saturdays competition. The exact circumstances of the awards will not be released until the night of the race, but, we want to recognize teams that normally work their butts off and do not get near enough recognition, commented Velocity Wings President Scott Cowman. I really like what they are doing up there for the sport and support it fully. They are a great bunch to work with and doing this makes us feel good in general. We want to make as many people feel good as possible.
