Watson Racing Ready to Roar in 2003
Campbellsville, KY- 4/7 - Dirt Late Model driver Jeff Watson of Campbellsville,
KY is ready to begin the 2003 racing season as the 30 year old driver is set to
start his third full season behind the wheel of a Late Model after turning
wrenches on father Finn Watson's entry for several seasons.
The second generation driver, who will exchange wedding vows with Ms.
Jessica Humphress on April 12, heads into the 2003 race season with an
excellent arsenal of equipment and help. The team will once again utilize a
MasterSbilt Race Car and the entry will be shod with Hoosier Race Tires.
The 2002 season saw Watson grab his first ever Late Model feature win by
taking the checkered flag on July 5 at Clinton County Speedway in Albany,
KY. Watson would prove to be a mark of consistency throughout the entire
season and would finish the season in the top five in Late Model track
points at the 3/10 mile Clinton County facility, which finished its first
full season of operation in 2002.
The 2003 racing season will see Watson Racing competing on a regular basis
for the Late Model track championship at Clinton County Speedway in Albany,
KY and at Bluegrass Speedway in Bardstown, KY and will begin their 2003
campaign around the beginning of May. Crew members for Watson Racing in
2003 include Finn Watson, Kevin Richerson, Tim Clark, and Stanley Graham.
