8/21/06 - Kemenah debuts and

Kemenah debuts and
scores an Awesome “Best Appearing” look at Knoxville Nationals
LONDON, ON (August 21, 2006) –The usual paint on the CK Racing sprint
car of Chad Kemenah sports a regal blue and bright orange. It’s looked
that way for many years and through various All Star Circuit of Champions
titles and World of Outlaws Sprint Series victories. At the 46th running
of the Knoxville Nationals held last week in Knoxville, Iowa, the Banshee
was in a black mood and delighted the crowd all weekend. Not only was the
car different and unique, but the whole attire of the CK Racing team stood
out as well.
The result: winner of the “Best Appearing Award” at the Knoxville
Nationals.

Awesome Racewear, taking the lead from Banshee Graphics of Findlay,
Ohio, matched the stout black and green look of the No. 15K with an
outrageous set of sublimated crew uniforms and a nomex satin black and
green race suit for Kemenah. Awesome Racewear, which recently installed it’s
very own sublimated shirt machine to ramp up production, held the idea of
the green lightning shirts and the shiny black outfit from the CK team all
the way up to the first day of the Knoxville Nationals.
“Kevin from Awesome would not let me see the shirts before we got
here,” relayed Kemenah. “He said they were just too cool and wanted to
surprise us, and he was right!”
Awesome Racewear also secured the “Best Appearing” crew for the
second consecutive year at the Knoxville Nationals. In 2005, the Rush
Racing team of Brooke Tatnell utilized Awesome’s services and sublimated
crew shirts to promote a unique flame scheme that was the talk of the
show. This year, Kemenah’s team backed that up with another
audience-wowing shirt that blew the doors off of the competition.
“The shirts are quality, breath easy and just look unreal,” backed
Kemenah. “We have used another set this whole year for the Outlaws tour
that are white, and we beat them up everyday on the road. They just keep
coming back for more after we wash them and they are white. Clean as day,
even for guys that are rolling around working on cars.”
Although the “Best Appearing” car was not awarded this year as part
of Knoxville’s program, Kemenah’s car was indeed the fan favorite
across various message boards and heard during the chatter at the show.
“I’ve worked with Chad for about four or five years and I really
wanted to do something different this year,” mentioned Bart of Banshee
Graphics. “I told him we wanted to do something in black, and much like
how Awesome held out so did we. Chad didn’t see the car until the day
before he left for the show!”
Awesome Racewear would like to congratulate Kemenah and the CK Racing
team of Brian Kemenah, Shane Wisbon, A.J. Hadens and Brian Bres for
representing Awesome Racewear in such a fine fashion at the Knoxville
Nationals.
