(Local NASCAR Superstar To Select One Gateway Fan As Honorary Crew Member for
July 21 Busch Series Race)
Madison, IL - April 09, 2007 - Gateway International Raceway announced that
Columbia, Missouri
native and NASCAR superstar Carl Edwards will select one lucky fan to be an
honorary
pit crew member during the July 21 NASCAR Busch Series 250 race at Gateway.
Edwards is the defending race champion.
On Friday, July 20, Edwards will select one Gateway season ticket holder at
random from
those present at the track that day to be an honorary member of his #60 pit crew
team.
This is all part of the Friday season ticket holder autograph session. Various
NASCAR
Busch Series drivers will also be on-hand to sign autographs from 4:30 - 5:30 PM
prior
to the first practice.
Individual and season tickets are on sale now. Fans can purchase them by
calling 866-
35-SPEED (7-7333) during normal business hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday
through
Friday, or 24/7 by logging onto www.gatewayraceway.com. As in 2006, prices
remain
the same for all events. Below is a complete list of the major Oval events at
Gateway
International Raceway this season:

August 31 - ARCA RE/MAX Series 150
