Dynamic Transit signs on as Modified sponsor at Tri-City Speedway! Pontoon Beach, IL (March 30, 2007) Dynamic Transit of Granite City, IL has joined Tri-City Speedway's growing list of sponsors. Dynamic Transit has over 300 trucks carrying a wide variety of goods up and down our nations highway's. Dynamic Transit will become the title sponsor of the Open Wheel Modified division and in 2007 the modifieds will be racing for $700 to win & $100 to start for all regular weekly events this season. The season opener at Tri-City Speedway is on April 6th with Friday night racing each week throughout the summer and into fall. Tri-City Speedway prepares to start the 2007 racing season on completely revamped track! Pontoon Beach, IL (March 4, 2007) Tri-City Speedway continues to prepare for the 2007 racing season as work continues on finishing the new track. The half-mile and quarter-mile tracks have been re-configured into one 3/8 mile track. There will be all new Musco Lighting installed and a concrete wall will be going up around the outside of the track soon. Tri-City action begins with a Racer's Swap Meet on March 18, followed by a Play Day on March 25. The season opener on March 30 with Friday night racing each week throughout the summer and into fall. Tri-City Speedway will once again host several special events throughout the season with the first on being on April 13th with the Missouri/Illinois Dodge Dealers presents the Mid-American Racing Series late models featuring some of the best drivers in the Midwest and surrounding areas. On Friday, May 4th, the World of Outlaws Sprints will make a stop at Tri-City Speedway. The POWRi Midgets will also be competing making a full night of open wheel action. Tickets are on sale now and you can get yours by calling 800-617-9077. The 2nd Annual Fed-Ex 50 will take place over the Memorial Day weekend and will be run on Sunday, May 27th. $10,000 will be up for grabs for the winner of this dirt late model event! Open Wheel action returns to Tri-City Speedway on Thursday, June 14th as 410 Winged Sprint Cars and POWRi Midgets take to the track! On Friday, July 6th the most grueling tour in dirt late model racing comes to Tri-City Speedway as the UMP Summer Nationals rolls in. Some of the top drivers from around the country will go head-to-head with some of the best Missouri & Illinois drivers. Just two weeks later on July 20th, the Lucas Oil Dirt Late Model Series will make their only visit of 2007 to the immediate St. Louis area. This top Nationals touring series brings many of the top drivers from all around the country and features a show you just don't want to miss. Tri-City Speedway closes out the 2007 racing season with over a month of special events throughout September and October. On August 31st, a Labor Day weekend special event will be ran with details coming soon. On September 7th, Tri-City Speedway will have their Season Championships for all divisions. On September 21st and 22nd, the 3rd Annual Modified Mania will be run with big money on the line for the modifieds in this two-day special event. On October 7th, the 410 Winged Sprints and POWRi Midgets bring the open wheel action back to Tri-City Speedway. The final night of racing is scheduled to be October 13th when the Crate American Racing Series will have their 2nd Annual Fall Nationals. These dirt late models feature an economically priced crate engine and put on a great show. Weekly racing at Tri-City Speedway will feature Late Models, Modifieds, C.A.R.S Late Models, Street Stocks & Factory Stocks.
